Palin
Sarah Palin went from cheerleader, to beauty queen, and to Governor of Alaska all without being noticed.
In a matter of months after being chosen for one of the one most powerful jobs in the country ... an old man's heartbeat away from the presidency ... she managed to cause more damage to an already ruined party and draw attention to herself, her family, and put Alaska on the map as the place to go for corrupt politics, inbreeding, and child pregnancy.
With her malicious comments, catty accusations, and continually blaming everyone but herself and the hillbillies around her for her plight.
She's like the hot chick in high school that all the boys want to screw but no one wants to date. |

Tough Sell For Speeches
Many big lecture venues are subscription series, "and they don't want to tick people off," said our source. "Palin is polarizing, and some subscribers might cancel if she's on the lineup." Other lecture buyers are universities, which have a leftist slant, and corporations, which dislike controversy.
"Palin is so uninteresting to so many groups -- unless they are interested in moose hunting," said our insider. "What does she have to say? She can't even describe what she reads." Read More >> |

| This is Who They Ask? | Palin Testifies in NY
The witnesses invited include a host of officials from the medical, political, private insurance, and non-governmental world -- each with a clear area of expertise on the topic of caring for the elderly.
Then there is Palin. The former Alaska Governor's health care policy contribution is defined by a brief Facebook message she wrote in early August in which she warned that Democratic reform would create "death panels" tasked with determining who to euthanize, including her child with Down Syndrome.

| Palin Control | Palin Foe Frozen Out
I have a confession to make. I've been watching the Sarah Palin Ebay charity dinner auction with somewhat of an obsession. Who would be willing to bid $25,000 or more for dinner with Sarah Palin? Newsworthy? Probably not. More important things to think about? You betcha. But I've been doing it anyway. It's cheap entertainment when you're sitting around sick with the flu. Blame it on the Nyquil.
The best part about my frivolous obsession, is that shortly after I started watching the auction, I became privy, thanks to a couple of the bidders, to the strange and mysterious back story of the bidd ... Read More >> |

| Pals? | Pallin with Palin
Well it doesn't look like anyone will be looking to have a Palin as a pal. There don't seem to be a lot takers for her kind of blurting and acts of random outbursts.
Interviews with a number of the most conservative Democrats in the House and Senate induced an awkward, stare-at-your-shoes unease when the prospect of appearing with Palin was posed. Read More >> |

| Huffington et al ... | Palin Lied?

Ooooooo ... here's a surprise. Palin lied about why she was resigning. Claiming the onslaught of legal battles as a reason for her resigning. That it was costing the state too much.
Greg Sargent reported on The Plum Line that one of Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's key reasons for resigning -- that ethics complaints against her were draining the state of money -- appeared to be false. Surprise! Read More >> |

| Wall Street Journal | Peggy Noonan
Now that the cat's out of the bag, uhm Palin's out of office. Peggy Noonan has decided it's ok to say how she really feels ... sort of. It's not like her calling the choice of Palin for VP "political bullshit" but it's refreshingly honest coming from someone who usually appears to have their conservative head up their ass.
In television interviews she was out of her depth in a shallow pool. She was limited in her ability to explain and defend her positions, and sometimes in knowing them. She couldn't say what she read because she didn't read anything. She was utterly unconcerned by all this a... Read More >> |

| The Final Speech? |
The Resignation

Palin gave her resignation speech symbolically on the eve of this country's celebration of its independence. It was little more than some incoherent rambling we've grown accustom to. But not in the way you grow accustomed to a spouse farting or picking their nose.
This was yet another "WTF did she say and how long will it will be before we have to listen to more of this shit," sort of way.
The way you might feel about that same spouse right before you stab yourself in the eye with a pencil to not have to listen to another 3 seconds of their crap.
Here's the full speech and a video. ... Read More >> |

| Vanity Fair |
It Came From Wassila

Vanity Fair's Todd S. Purdum wrote an indepth and not so unbiased 16-page piece on Palin, SarahPAC, her hillbilly family, and the shenanigans that went into her carreer and the VP cluster fuck.
He covers her lack of foreign affairs expertise, her unwillingness to talk to the press, her inability to articulate the truth, the interviews during the campaign, and basically what a catty little bitch she really is.
"When she chooses to reveal herself, what she reveals is not always the same thing as the truth." ... Read More >> |

Republican Family Feud

Politico, in an examination of the Vanity Fair article on Palin speculates and shows where the infighting went on and who was involved.
“On two separate and distinct occasions, he speculated about about Governor Palin having post-partum depression, and on the second he threatened that if more negative publicity about the handling of Governor Palin emerged that he would leak his speculation [about post-partum depression] to the press. It was like meeting Tony Soprano."

Letterman vs Palin
Lest we forget the Letterman fiasco and how offended Palin she was by what a comedian said. Who in their right mind picks a fight with a comedian or a talk show host? It's like insulting the Chef before you sit down to eat. Here's
to the bullshit accusations.
In all fairness . Again being a just a little bitchy - what a surprise.
"The Palins have no intention of providing a rating's boost for David Letterman by appearing on his show," the Alaska governor's rep said in a statement to FOXNews.com. "Plus, it would be wise to keep Willow away from David Letterman."
What a fucking ridiculous statement to make. I think Palin owes Letterman an apology.

| Facebook Resignation |
Palin on Facebook
Don't forget to read Palin's resignation announcement - which she chose to do on Facebook of all places. Who resigns on Facebook? Prom Queens? Class Presidents? Cheer leaders?
Maybe the "mainstream media" which she constantly accuses of attacking her just wasn't the right the place to make an important announcement like this. Much better to do it on a social networking site.
It really is cute the way she uses all the little symbols and colloquialisms.
*((Gotta put First Things First))*
First things first: as Governor, I love my job and I love Alaska. It hurts to make this choice but I am doing what's best for Alaska. I've explained why... though I think of the saying on my parents' refrigerator that says "Don't explain: your friends don'... Read More >> |
