Out of cynicism and frustration was born shitheadery.com (pronounced shi-they-duh-ree).
A platform to highlight modern sophistry, intellectual dishonesty, social hypocrisy, smug attitudes of entitlement, and occasionally simple bad manners. The contributing writers call their families, strangers, neighbors, communities, leaders, and occasionally themselves to task for acts of shitheadery.
Have you ever wondered exactly when it was that civilization ended?
When was the last time you were cut off in traffic, flipped off, or treated as though you'd just stabbed someone with a fork because you had a question about the bill?
How many times have you watched or witnessed someone do something so ridiculously stupid you didn't know whether you should laugh, cry, punch them in the face, or punch yourself in the face out of sheer frustration?
Have you ever watched the news, thought you could process what you just heard, turned in amazement to the person sitting next you and found yourself unable to express your thoughts?
Have you ever wanted to vent, rant, or write about it?
These reactions are symptoms of having witnessed shitheadery.
Shitheadery is far reaching and fairly broad and is best defined by anything that would make you question another person’s actions. Actions that cause you to think, say, or scream, “are you kidding me” or “W-T-F” are most likely a result of shitheadery.
The articles on this site come from different writers with different opinions and understandings of shitheadery. It is after all subjective and open to interpretation.
We encourage you to register on the site, comment, subscribe, submit an article, tell your friends, tell the shitheads, and spread the word.

We're not out to change the world or become a militant watchdog group - though that would be nice. We may not be able to beat or stop this thing, but we can sure have fun pointing it out, and maybe embarrass some shitheads into behaving.

While there aren’t different levels of shitheadery, for the purpose of organization, there are different categories:
- Political Shitheadery: It’s important to note that shitheadery is not limited to one particular party. Politics, by definition, is ripe with shitheadery.
- Social Shitheadery: This is possibly the worst form of shitheadery as it’s the most personal. It occurs in every day life. At work, at the store, while driving, etc…
- Media Shitheadery: The media has long been involved in spreading shitheadery. Particularly the News. The days of responsible unbiased journalism are long gone.
- Business Shitheadery: High interest rates, foreclosures, credit cards, customer dis-service departments, call centers, late fees, ignorant employees, and greed have led to distrust and angst in this area.
